This quilt pattern is part of a larger project which showcases the barn quilts in Houston County, Minnesota. This quilt is a re-creation of a barn quilt along this barn quilt trail. The pattern was not designed by a professional, and therefore may require an advanced beginner skill level to accommodate extra trimming and sizing variations that occur along the process. It is a cheery little pattern and works wonderfully for a wall hanging or lap quilt. The block used is known as ‘Gentleman’s Fancy’.
